Ellie Bullen is an author, nutritionist and world traveller. Her philosophy to life is simple, "eat more, plants" and her style embraces the beauty of the natural elements of what surrounds us everyday.
She recently purchased a new home in the sunny beach shores of QLD and we were lucky enough to be invited inside to help her create spaces within her home that she and her family could embrace and enjoy for years to come.
Answering some questions for us along the way, allowed us to connect with her and dial into her own personal style to ensure we aligned with the same vision and produced pieces that suited her project.
We thought we would take a moment to share some of these questions with you.
Was the house brand new or a renovation?
Fortunately brand new built by local builders Arluca Construction
What is it like living in QLD ?
"We love our lifestyle here. With the beautiful beach just 800m down the road, our fav local coffee shop that we visit daily, and our farmers market only a couple of hundred metres away. "
What advice can you give to people redecorating their homes?
"Find a style and colour palette that you are loving and follow that. Some wood and white also helps keep a space fresh and clean."
What are your favourite pieces in your home?
"Since I am a foodie, all are related to food of course.
I love our dining table and chairs, they are beautiful and minimalist. I also love our SMEG fab 50 fridge, as it adds a retro and scandi vibe to our home. I am also obsessed with our olive tree in our living room. "
The choices of product in Ellie's home made this project a styling dream but also showcased how simple bold designs can make a statement. Step inside her home below and enjoy her amazing curation of love and design.
